Ahead of tomorrows (25th of July) album release, The Ks – have shared their latest single ‘Rat Poison’

Explosive indie rockers The K’s will release their highly-anticipated second album, Pretty On The Internet, this Friday via LAB Records. Packed with raw energy, razor-sharp lyrics, and the anthemic hooks that have made them a festival favourite, the record marks a bold new chapter for the band.

Previously released singles from Pretty On The Internet, including Me & Your SisterBreakdown In My BedroomGravestoneThe Bends (Here We Go Again) and string-led ballad Helen, Oh I, have received glowing reviews and racked up millions of streams, building major anticipation for the full album. It follows on from their unbelievable debut, which saw them reach #3 in the Official Album with last year’s I Wonder If The World Knows? It became the UK’s second biggest debut album of 2024 and they now expect to exceed that with Pretty On The InternetThe album has been produced by Grammy Award winner Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Dandy Warhols) and mixed by Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals, Nothing But Thieves).

As a final taste of what’s to come, The K’s have released their brand-new single Rat Poison. Speaking of the track, they’ve said Rat Poison was inspired by a familiar and recurring experience I found myself in almost weekly — a hazy, late-night moment in a stranger’s house, surrounded by unfamiliar faces and questionable decisions. It captures that surreal in-between state where the night blurs into early morning, and I’m already anticipating the weight of regret and self-reflection that will inevitably follow. The song explores the tension between reckless escapism and the sobering clarity that comes with the aftermath”
