I’m still trying to figure out was I at a gig, a fun-park or on an acid trip lol (not that I’d know) because thats what been in the 3Olympia in Dublin last light was like.
From the get-go it was fun fun and more fun, Wayne Coyne has to be the jolliest man in a band, it was clear he is having a lot of fun when on stage and loves what he does.
So as this is the Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots UK & Ireland Tour 2025 the first half of the show is the album in its entirety and then a 20 minute interval after which its hit after hit after hit for another full set with a few great covers to boot and as you can see from the photos there are a few large robots thrown in for good measure, lots and lots of confetti which was fun as during ‘Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 2 ‘ the cannons are going off, two large green inflatable balls are fired out into the crowd to be bounced around and Wayne himself is shooting off a handheld streamer cannon.
Anyone going tonight as the band sold-out two nights at the venue, yous are in for one hell of a party.
