J.I.D / Mick Jenkins – God Does Like World Tours, live gallery and review from 3Olympia Dublin 07.04.2026

Mick Jenkins really set the mood for the night with that signature smooth, Chicago sound. He’s got a way of making the 3Olympia feel intimate, leaning heavily into his poetic lyrics and those jazz-influenced beats that fans love. The crowd was clearly into it, especially when he dropped tracks from The Waters and got everyone shouting back his “Drink More Water” mantra. He didn’t just lean on the energy of the tracks to carry the set, he really focused on the craft of the performance. His stage presence is super grounded, which worked perfectly to get the energy right before things kicked off. By the time he finished, the room was definitely primed for J.I.D.

J.I.D absolutely lived up to the hype tonight, turning the 3Olympia into a masterclass of energy from the second he stepped out to the intro. He’s touring his new God Does Like Ugly album, and seeing tracks like “You Ugly” and “Glory” live right at the start shows off just how insane his technical skills are. The pacing of the set was great, moving from the storytelling of “Crack Sandwich” into the more melodic, soulful stretch of “Workin Out” and “Kody Blu.” You can tell he knows how to build momentum, because just as the crowd settled into the vibe, he flipped the switch with the back-to-back intensity of “Raydar,” “Dance Now,” and “Never.” High-energy staples like “151 Rum” and “Down Bad” kept the standing section fully engaged right until the very end. He’s got so much stamina on stage, it’s honestly impressive how he maintains that level of precision for over twenty songs. Closing out the night with “Stick” felt like the perfect move to leave the Dublin crowd on a high note. It was a massive way to wrap up this leg of the tour before he heads to Australia, proving once again why he’s one of the best performers in the game right now.
