Alt-pop and electronic duo SISTRA release their new single, ‘Double Edged Sword’, out now via AWAL. It is their latest new music since the release of the acclaimed single, ‘Things I Really Mean’, which was released in November of last year. Both new singles have been produced by longtime Charli xcx collaborator Jon Shave.
On ‘Double Edged Sword’, SISTRA pick up from where they left off with their last single, ‘Things I Really Mean’, continuing their sonical shift from what has come before. Their sound incorporates avant-pop, art-pop, and hyper-pop aesthetics, and leans into electronic motifs. The production is sublime, embracing a wide spectrum of genres. With ‘Double Edged Sword’, SISTRA once again demonstrates why they are one of the most exciting artists on the scene today.

“Double Edged Sword sums up our relationship as sisters. We’re each other’s ride or dies which is such a powerful thing to have in life, but we’re becoming aware of how it might actually inhibit us.
