Burgeoning alt-pop singer-songwriter and producer Erin LeCount releases her sensational new single, ‘I BELIEVE’, out now via Atlantic Records. Alongside the single is a new live performance video of ‘I BELIEVE’, taken from Erin LeCount’s recent London KOKO show. The video is available to watch today from 17:00 GMT.
Erin has teased the release of ‘I BELIEVE’ on social media and has played it live on her recent emphatic sold-out ‘La Lune Tour’, which took place at the end of last year. ‘I BELIEVE’ follows the release of her two recent singles, ‘808 HYMN’ and ‘MACHINE GHOST’, both of which were released in late 2025.
On ‘I BELIEVE’, Erin LeCount demonstrates why she is one of the most acclaimed and exciting new artists to emerge onto the scene today, with an artistic vision that is unfalteringly and unmistakably her. The track’s expansive production, which was created entirely by Erin, is coupled with her hauntingly beautiful vocals and lyrics. ‘I BELIEVE’ has a sound that falls between art-pop and baroque-pop, and it is a track that signifies the lofty trajectory Erin LeCount has in store for her already impressive career.
Speaking about ‘I BELIEVE’ Erin LeCount said:
“‘I BELIEVE’ is a cynical, existential song about apathy, passiveness in your own life, disillusionment with the state of the world, what it feels like to turning to every possible external source to tell you how to feel and exist – religion, self help books, magazines, astrology, lovers, antidepressants. I wrote it about a pursuit of perfection, faith and meaning soundtracked to relentless synth pop production.”
Also out later today at 17:00 GMT is a live performance video of ‘I BELIEVE’, taken at Erin LeCount’s recent sold-out headline show at London’s KOKO. The video was shot and edited by long-time collaborators of Erin LeCount, Sam Taylor-Edwards and Kit Dale, who both worked on the music videos for ‘808 HYMN’ and ‘MACHINE GHOST’. The video is available to view below.
