Salt tree, an acoustic duo from Australia made a very difficult journey over to Ireland by boat during a storm to play their Academy show on Saturday night. They told the audience the story of how scary the boat ride over was and also spoke about difficult life stories and journeys they have taken through life and how writing music and performing has helped them through so many difficult times. There was a few tears shed in the crowd for this very intimate gig, the two also played a song in the middle of the crowd to really connect with everyone.
The night was warmed up by The Franklin Electric, who came from Canada and also spoke about mental health and the power music has for everyone.
