Dublin five piece Sack came to Kilkenny and hit the award winning venue John Cleere’s Bar & Theatre. For those that might not know the band (which you should) Morrissey was once noted on saying ‘When I heard a song of theirs called Laughter Lines, I was staggered by it. It should be Number One forever!’ band have also in the past toured with the Morrissey.
All that aside the guys have just released their latest single ‘I Fell Through A Crack’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5d1Qe_vUgk taken from the new album ‘Wake Up People!’ which the guys played a number of tracks from and some good old numbers like ‘What Did the Christians Ever Do for Us?’ / ‘In Absentia’. And Martin at one point between songs doing a little spoken word piece, that being Stop the Music for a Minute by Quentin Crisp.
