Indie-folk five-piece Bottlemoth are excited to announce the release of their upcoming debut album ‘Even us ghosts’ due for release October 17th 2024 to limited edition vinyl.
Ahead of the release next week, Bottlemoth have released a surprise single ‘Settle In’, a song about the pressure to thrive in a big city, keeping up with the rat race, the fear of missing out and yearning for home.
“Settle in is a song written when I was still living in London. I felt the pressure to always be out, meeting people, networking, finding new places to visit – living the rat race. Lots of that was fun, and I miss the city now – but at the time, I missed my closest friends, my family, and the easier, more comforting hangs of the people back home. Maybe we always miss the things we don’t have. I was burning the candle at both ends to get out a lot, and all I really wanted was to be with those that meant the most. Thats when the chorus line came – I never really want to go out anyway”, explains Ethan.
The album’s previous singles ‘Tattoo’, ‘You’ll Always Have Us // Everything Works Out In the End’ and ‘Landslides (people change)’ have seen Bottlemoth championed by the likes of Fame Magazine, RTE, The Most Radicalist and Spotify editorial’s Hot New Bands and Apple’s New In Rock.
