Alt-pop provocateur Ashnikko turned Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre into a neon soaked playground on February 17th, delivering a high octane performance as part of her SMOOCHIES Tour. With rising pop talent Amelia Moore warming up the crowd, the venue quickly filled with devoted “Demidevils,” buzzing with anticipation long before the main act appeared.
By the time Ashnikko emerged dramatically from a small door built into her stage set, the packed room was already at fever pitch. She launched straight into ‘Sticky Fingers’ instantly commanding the space with her unmistakable blend of confidence, grit, and playful menace. Massive roars and cheers echoed through the theatre as fans screamed every lyric back at her, setting the tone for what would become an unforgettable night.
The sprawling 26 song setlist pulled generously from across her catalogue, including crowd favorites like ‘Smoochie Girl’, ‘You Make Me Sick!’, ‘WEEDKILLER’, ‘Wet Like’, and the ever-iconic ‘Slumber Party’. Each track landed with explosive energy, blending abrasive basslines with sugary hooks in a way only Ashnikko can pull off.
As always, she was joined by two dancers who reappeared throughout the night for tightly choreographed routines and quick prop changes, helping transform the concert into something closer to a theatrical stage production. From playful costume moments to the stage backdrop, the show felt immersive and carefully constructed, not just a run through of songs, but a fully realized world.
What truly stood out was Ashnikko’s connection with the audience. She bounced effortlessly between fierce performance mode and warm, self aware banter, repeatedly thanking Dublin for its energy and praising the crowd’s dedication. The Demidevils responded in kind, jumping, screaming, and singing along with relentless enthusiasm.
By the end of the night, it was clear after a night of equal parts concert, dance showcase, and theatrical spectacle, her Dublin date proved that she’s operating on a level far beyond standard pop performances.
For fans and newcomers alike, Ashnikko’s SMOOCHIES Tour stop at the 3Olympia was a vibrant, unapologetic reminder of why she remains one of alt-pop’s most compelling live acts.
