Back in 1996 Apocalyptica release their debut album ”Plays Metallica by Four Cellos” and paid tribute to metal giants Metallica, They have do it again with the recent release of Plays Metallica Vol 2 and are on the road with a new tour of the same name.
Playing a set of fourteen of Metallica’s hits on three cellos and accompanied by a drummer this is a show to be seen and of-course reminiscent of The S&M album in a way, stripped back ever so slightly.
It has been seventh years since the guys played Dublin, lets hope they dont leave it as long to come back.
To kick off proceedings fall on the shoulders of English heavy metal band The Raven Age.
