Born and raised in Kilkenny, Ireland, Annika is a singer-songwriter and musician who has been introducing herself to the world through a series of heartfelt, captivating songs inspired by musicians such as Carole King, Olivia Dean and Elton John.
Recently featuring in BBC Radio 4’s ‘Behind The Music’s celebration of 50 years of ABBA’ for her cover of Dancing Queen, having been described by Hot Press as “one of the country’s most compelling young talents” and praised by RTE’s New Music Show presenter Beta Da Silva as one to watch, Annika is excited to continue to create and share her music as she is currently writing and recording her second EP.
Although most of her time is spent at her piano or sitting on floors playing guitar, she can be found playing live, opening for artists such as Grammy award-winning Laufey at Hackney EarTh, standing as her biggest show to date.
