Having seen Sun Mahshene numerous time as an opening band I was delighted to manage to get to a headline show of theirs, having just released their album ‘A Place We’ve Never Been’ back in August of 2024 the band were playing the album in full and more, this made it even batter to get a long to to show.
Another thing that made this show so special was that it was in the intimate setting of Crowbar Terrace and side venue to Dublin’s Button Factory and will a capacity of only 80 this made for a truly up-close and personal show.
The guys played a blinder of a set which as mentioned contained the full album and more.
The set opened up with three songs ending with ‘Leave The City’ before the guys got into the album tracks which the then played right through which a guest appearance from Rachel Tan (lead vocals Telekura) on ‘Worlds.
The Album tacks wasnt the end of the night as the band then continued on with four more tracks to finish out what was a great night and one great way to see such a great band that deserve to move on to bigger things.
I mentioned Rachel Tan already who is the lead vocals for Dublin psychedelic pop duo Telekura who warmed up all in attendance very nicely as the opening act and judging by the people their and the cheers these guys are well liked around Dublin, so be sure to check them out.
