Sixpence None The Richer –  set for their Headline Dublin show at Whelans

Sixpence None the Richer are renowned for their distinctive blend of indie-rock and introspective songwriting. With a gorgeous sound that is anchored in Leigh Nash’s unmistakable vocals and Matt Slocum’s intricate guitar work, their live performances leave audiences completely captivated.

Formed in 1992 by Matt Slocum and Leigh Nash in New Braunfels, Texas, Sixpence None the Richer now have a discography spanning six full-length albums and the newly released Rosemary Hill EP, which they will be touring across Ireland hitting up Cork, Galway, Dublin and Belfast in September 2026.

The band is perhaps best known for their hit singles, including “Kiss Me” – which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and became a top-10 hit in sixteen countries – along with “There She Goes”, “Breathe Your Name”, and “Don’t Dream It’s Over”.

The band has received critical acclaim, having been nominated for two Grammy Awards, won numerous Dove Awards, and received honors such as “Top Soundtrack Single” at the Billboard Music Awards and “Best Song” at the Young Hollywood Awards. Their cover of “There She Goes” by The La’s was a BMI Pop Awards Top Song in 2001.

Reuniting in 2024, the band embarked on an extensive tour and released the new Rosemary Hill EP.

In April 2025, Sixpence None the Richer dropped their first-ever live album, Live at Gruene Hall. On their return to touring in 2024 through 2025, their first time since 2013, lead singer Leigh Nash shared her excitement, saying, “I want to come out swinging.”
Sixpence None the Richer has helped shape the musical landscape across generations and continues to bring their music, both new and old, to audiences worldwide.
