Singular Artists – launch of Wider Than Pictures 2026 from The Grand Social, Dublin 13.08.2026

Ahead of its return to Collins Barracks later this month, Singular Artists marked the launch of Wider Than Pictures 2026 with a special gathering at The Grand Social in Dublin.

The evening brought together guests for an early taste of this year’s series, with signature Wider Than Pictures cocktails, pizza and music setting the tone for what is to come. The Reverend Tony Bones took over the decks for the evening, providing the soundtrack as the crowd gathered for the launch.
Wider Than Pictures returns to the National Museum of Ireland at Collins Barracks from August 25 to 30, continuing a summer concert series that has quickly become a familiar fixture in Dublin’s live music calendar.

The historic courtyard will host six nights of live music this year, with a line-up spanning rock, indie, alternative and electronic sounds. Amyl and the Sniffers open the series with two consecutive nights, joined by Mannequin Pussy and Spider. Faye Webster follows on August 27 alongside SPRINTS and Amie Blu, before berlioz brings his deep in it show to Collins Barracks with Sofia Kourtesis and Ricky Chong the following night. Mac DeMarco takes over on August 29 with Tex Crick, while Super Furry Animals close the 2026 programme on August 30 alongside Baxter Dury and Dublin band Really Good Time.

The launch at The Grand Social offered a much smaller and more informal introduction to this year’s programme before the main shows begin.

With the first night now less than two weeks away, the launch provided the first step towards another six-night run of Wider Than Pictures in the city.
