Red Stamp – announce headline at The Workman’s Cellar, Dublin

Red Stamp is an Irish-Catalan band formed by Aoife Nessa Frances, Núria Graham, and Brendan Doherty. The trio first crossed paths in Austin, Texas, in 2023, united by a shared sensibility for rhythm, texture, and melody. A serendipitous reunion in Rotterdam later that year saw Aoife and Núria—longtime admirers of each other’s work—begin writing together, with Brendan’s dynamic percussion laying the groundwork for their sound.

Both Aoife and Núria have carved out distinct identities as solo artists, with critically acclaimed albums and an established presence in the music world. Núria’s work, including Cyclamen (2023), spans dreamy, avant-pop soundscapes and experimental arrangements, all while maintaining an intimate emotional core. Aoife’s music, blends elements of lush psych-folk, hypnotic textures, cinematic pop, with immersive, arrangements and poetic storytelling. Combined with Brendan’s innovative drumming—developed through his collaborations with artists like Villagers, Aoife Nessa Frances, and Maria Somerville—the trio creates a uniquely expansive sonic landscape for Red Stamp.

Red Stamp’s debut single, “Dancing With My Baby”, recorded in upstate New York with Sam Evian, is a perfect introduction—where fluid percussion, warm synths, and intertwining vocals create a slow-burning, groove-driven atmosphere that invites both movement and reflection.

Though still in its early stages, Red Stamp is already carving out a space between pop and psychedelia, where rhythm, texture, and emotion are inseparable.
