Pitbull (A.K.A Mr. Worldwide) touched down in Dublin for the first European stop on the Party After Dark Tour on Wednesday night. Put the No.1 played karaoke artist on the planet in front of 30,000 Irish fans and what you imagine is exactly what you get. If there’s one thing this man knows how to do, it’s how to throw a party.
Early on, Mr. 305 proudly checked in with the Irish crowd, dropping a well-timed “What’s the craic?” and was unsurprisingly met with unanimous approval. Backed by his powerhouse dance crew, ‘The Most Bad Ones’, Pitbull went on to tear through a legendary catalog of night-out anthems. Whether it was Timber, Time Of Our Lives or Give Me Everything, every track delivered a sizeable dose of nostalgia – a throwback playlist brought to life.
Lil Jon set the tone for the night as the opening act. Tracks like Shots and Turn Down For What had the buzz in the place sky-high. If the mission was to throw the party of the year, Pitbull certainly set down a marker. Few can make the arena feel like one big dance floor like he can.
