Legendary singer-songwriter PAUL SIMON announced he will continue “A Quiet Celebration Tour,” following a highly successful and critically acclaimed US tour, and bring this special concert series to Europe, the UK and Ireland this Spring 2026 including a Dublin Show at 3Arena on May 20.
The show opens with the performance of the Grammy nominated masterpiece Seven Psalms. This beautiful 33 minute continuous piece of music was heralded by the press worldwide – the Guardian called it “a masterful suite” and Times of London “a remarkable album.” After a brief intermission, the show continues with many of Simon’s classic hits and some rarely, if ever, performed pieces, all lovingly and newly arranged specifically for this tour.
Seven Psalms was recorded on entirely acoustic instruments and performed predominantly by Paul. Simon often says the listener completes the song, and he was eager to expand the experience by performing this intricately layered work in a live forum.
The European tour will begin on April 9 in Prague, Czech Republic and travel throughout Europe and the UK, concluding in Dublin, Ireland on May 20. The band will include:
Mark Stewart (guitar), Bakithi Kumalo (bass), Steve Gadd (drums), Andy Snitzer (saxophone), Jamey Haddad (percussion), Mick Rossi (piano, keys), Gyan Riley (guitar), Nancy Stagnitta (flute), Caleb Burhans (viola) and Eugene Friesen (Cello).
