Palace Live at The Academ
Palace brought their London alt rock vibes to The Academy on Monday 25th.
Not a band I had really put too much effort into previously, but a mate of mine from NYC had seen them perform and urged me to try and attend their upcoming show in Dublin and so I did. And I am proud of my decisions LOL.
On route, I blasted their newest album ‘Ultrasound’ and just sat back and relaxed as the sounds brought me on a journey. A beautiful calming sound whilst lead singer Leo directed the way. Surprisingly, I got the same vibes from their live show too. The crowd seemed to be in awe and eyes were just fixed straight on the stage, no messing.
Support from Chartreuse warmed us up perfectly with their dark ambient alt pop sounds and a big cudos to Ruth from the Academy who had delicately weaved the lighting amongst the band members and provided a stunning visual to suit their sounds perfectly.
A beautiful Monday night indeed.
