Well that brought me back, has been some years since i last saw Ocean Colour Scene and last night they were as good as i remember.
The night was the first of two well deserved sold out nights at Dublin’s 3Olympia, originally there was to be one night that being tonight (24th) but that sold-out so fast that the second night was added (23rd) and it sold-out just as fast.
The band treated the crowd to a fantastic set of all the hits and more transporting everyone back to the nighties, I’m sat here wondering how many are still singing ”The Day We Caught the Train” as that was the song the guys finished up with and sent everyone home buzzing.
Opening band on the tour are alternative indie folk act Burr Island who quietly took the crowd on a mellow warm up before the main act, unfortanatly to many choose to talk over the band, why cant these people stay at home or if they want to talk to their mates go to the bar.
