Gavin Dunne better known by the name of his music project Miracle of Sound, known for his music inspired by video games / films and TV shows and who has been producing music for a number of years now played his first ever, yes first even live show at The Academy Dublin and also sold it out. you might be mistaken in thinking judging by his on line presence and music posting that the crowd were going to be gamers.
Nope not at all it happened to be a vast mixed crowd of metal heads / Viking folk heads and ok yep gamers and of all ages.
This been Gavin’s first live performance people didn’t really know what to expect, but once the band hit the stage it was clear that it is a place where the band are meant to be and all members revelled in the spotlight.
On the night they played through a fifteen song setlist covering all of the Miracle of Sound catalogue to the delight of all in attendance as everyone could be seen singing along to every tune played.
Opening the night fall on the shoulders of Colm R. McGuiness who between his shanty tunes and banter had the crowd in the palm of his hand and got things nicely warmed up for what was to come.
