The Prodigy – Warrior’s Dance live gallery and review from IMMA Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 20.08.2026

What a way to kick off the first night of a series of shows, The Prodigy’s Warrior’s Dance show at Dublin’s Irish Museum of Modern Art (IMMA). From the moment the gates opened, there was a sense that this was going to be something special and by the time The Prodigy took the stage, the crowd were already primed for mayhem.

A series of DJs had kept the atmosphere building throughout the evening, with the legendary Carl Cox among the standout names behind the decks. His set alone had the crowd bouncing, ensuring there was little chance anyone was going to be standing still when the main event arrived.

Then came The Prodigy.

Opening with ‘Omen’, the band immediately hit the audience with the kind of raw energy that has defined them for decades. The set delivered 19 songs, mixing material with the huge tracks that have made The Prodigy one of electronic music’s most influential live acts. Naturally, the big hitters were all there, giving the crowd plenty of opportunities to scream, jump and lose themselves in the music.

What made the night particularly memorable was the atmosphere. There was a genuine sense of shared excitement across the IMMA grounds, with hundreds of fans completely locked into the performance. The combination of pounding beats and the band’s relentless stage presence made it feel more like a full scale rave.

As opening nights go, this was about as explosive as you could ask for. The Prodigy set the bar extremely high for the nights that follow.
