MDR / Small Church / Adam Weir –  2026 Irish tour live gallery and review from Coughlan’s Bar, Cork 09.10.2026

MDR got their tour off to a flying start with a sold-out show at Coughlan’s, delivering a night packed with energy, atmosphere and a crowd that was clearly there for the music.

Adam Weir opened proceedings, setting the scene for the night ahead, before main support Small Church took to the stage and helped build the anticipation in the packed venue.

When MDR finally arrived, the response said it all. Coughlan’s was buzzing, with a crowd ready to sing, sway and get fully involved. From start to finish, there was a real sense of connection between the band and the audience, with voices joining in and bodies moving along to the music.

The sea of MDR shirts scattered throughout the crowd, showing just how much support the band has behind them. This wasn’t simply a room full of people watching a performance, it was a crowd invested in the band and eager to be part of the experience.

A sold-out venue is always a great way to begin a tour, but MDR made sure the night was about more than just numbers. They created an atmosphere that felt communal, lively and full of genuine enthusiasm.

If Coughlan’s was any indication, MDR are heading out on tour with plenty of momentum. A cracking night and a fantastic start to the journey.
