La Femme – Rock Machine tour live gallery & review from The Academy Dublin 06.03.2025

French psychedelic punk band La Femme take to the stage of The Academy main room on Thursday 6th of March for a sold out gig to kick start their 2025 European Rock Machine Tour.

They played for an hour and a half of a fully energetic set including 4 keyboards, percussion, guitars, bass and a sample pad. They had the crowd dancing and going wild from start to finish.

They kept the audience on their toes showing off their amazing multi instrumental talent as from one song to the next the guitarist becomes a keyboard player or a bass player changing it up to playing the sample pad.
They didn’t lack in surprises as keyboardist Marlon Magnée picked up his keyboard and leaned into the crowd and played it like a guitar making the crowd go wild. He did this again near the end but included throwing the keyboard up in the air with a spin and catching it while him and the guitarist put a leg up on the barrier and played together.

After the band left and came back for a highly demanded encore, they riled the crowd up for a mosh pit while everyone on stage danced around as the room filled with so much joy.
From start to finish there was smiles and happiness filling the room. It was a night not to be missed.
