Kim Deal brought her Nobody Loves You More tour to Dublin’s Vicar Street with a full band including brass and strings to play a fantastic twenty two song set encompassing not only Kim Deal tunes but also Pixies and The Breeders tunes.
so in retrospect it could be classed as the Kim Deal history tour. Ooooh and there were a couple of covers thrown in for good measure.
Those covers being a Ed’s Redeeming Qualities track and ”Happiness Is A Warm Gun” by The Beatles.
Other tunes played throughout the night were ”Coast” / ”Beautiful Moon” / ”Invisible Man” / ”Gigantic” and of-course opening the set with the tune ”Nobody Loves You More”.
Opening act on the night were five piece traditional folk band from Dublin , Madra Salach who played a mix of original tunes and some trad covers including a tune by The Pogues and dedicated to the late Shane MacGowan.
