Julian Marley – Give to life UK & Europe Tour 2026  live gallery and review from The Academy, Dublin 30.07.2026

Julian Marley took to the stage at The Academy in Dublin last night, continuing the musical legacy of his father, reggae icon Bob Marley. From the opening moments, he brought an easy confidence and a strong connection with the Dublin audience. Backed by his band, Marley delivered a performance rooted in classic reggae while adding his own character and style.

The steady rhythms and rich live instrumentation filled The Academy, creating an intimate but energetic atmosphere. Marley appeared completely comfortable on stage, moving naturally between the music and his interactions with the crowd. His vocals carried clearly through the venue, supported by a tight and experienced group of musicians.

The set included songs such as  “Positive Vibration”, “On the Floor”, “Heathen”, “Harder Dayz” and “So High”. The audience responded warmly throughout the night, with plenty of movement and singing across the room. There was a strong sense of appreciation for both Julian’s own work and the wider Marley musical tradition.

Rather than relying only on his famous family name, the performance showed the experience and identity he has developed throughout his own career. The closing part of the show featured “Exodus”, “Inna Mood” and “Jammin”, ending the night on a strong note. It was a fitting evening for reggae fans in Dublin and a memorable performance in the close surroundings of The Academy. Julian Marley left the crowd with a show that felt positive, personal and deeply connected to reggae’s enduring spirit.
