Belfast-born artist – Chris Boldt is rapidly emerging as one of Ireland’s most exciting new country talents. He is set to release his latest single, “Eighteen 22”, today Monday, May 25th, marking the latest chapter in his musical journey.
As with Heaven’s Eyes and Made for More, Eighteen 22 further showcases Chris’s powerful lyricism and songwriting craftsmanship. For the last two years, he’s been living in Montana, the heartland of America, with bison, big skies and open highways, the rugged beauty of the American heartland.
Chris returned to his hometown of Belfast to record the new single, bringing his two worlds together. Eighteen 22is raw and road-worn – music for your soul.
Emerging from East Belfast, Chris Boldt has quickly become one of the most compelling new voices in contemporary folk and alt-country music. Known for his heartfelt songwriting, self-taught musicianship and captivating live performances, he first broke onto the scene with his debut single Heaven’s Eyes, which has accumulated close to 17 million Spotify streams.
Subsequent releases, including Made For More, Dreams, Me and Mine and Me Myself and I, have continued to build a loyal and growing audience.
Alongside the release of Eighteen 22, Chris has announced six Irish tour dates for September 2026, performing with his full band and joined by special guests across the country.
