Irish alt-indie artist Dystopian Novels releases charming new single ‘Roll Your Eyes’

Dystopian Novels is the solo project of Cork-based songwriter and producer Kieran Ring, the voice and creative force behind Irish indie rock band Neon Atlas. This project marks a departure from the guitar-driven energy of Neon Atlas, showcasing a more introspective and experimental dimension of Ring’s songwriting.

“‘Roll Your Eyes’ grew from a chord progression I’d been sitting on for years but could never quite unlock. Once we paired it with a stripped-back percussion setup—an empty guitar case and a set of keys—the song stopped resisting and fell into place.”
