Forbidden Fruit Champions Emerging Irish Artists:

This year, Forbidden Fruit continued its commitment to championing homegrown talent by launching a nationwide open call, offering emerging artists the chance to perform at the festival and its official afterparties. The initiative spotlighted three key areas

Live/Electronic acts across Ireland (VaticanJail, Kayleigh Noble, Spooklet, DiebyVeg, Sahana)

Female-identifying, trans, and non-binary artists in partnership with Skin&Blister (MENACE, Acushla)

Dublin 8 Local Spotlight Artists (Sarah Crean)

Once the lights go out on the grounds of Kilmainham, we’ve got a tempting selection of Forbidden Fruit After-Parties taking place in a variety of official locations around the city and running up until 3am. Festival-goers can look forward to an expanded lineup of DJ sets with major international talent sharing the stage with some of Dublin’s most exciting collectives
