Finneas played to a sold out 3Olympia Theatre on Sunday night. As a global superstar of his own making, he’s garnered hundreds of millions of plays across streaming platforms.
The choir of the Olympia welcomed the half-Irishman to the theatre with the most deafening roar. O’Connell’s set spanned the material from his three albums. His ability to effortlessly excel in multiple genres is one of his defining traits. His biggest recent hit – “For Cryin’ Out Loud” came as the last track of the night – and the noise in the room hit an all time high on the final chorus.
Hohnen Ford opened the evening with a stunning performance behind the keys. Her clever songwriting is sure to have won over a huge swathe of new fans in the room.
