So it was a night of mixed feels as two bands i have wanted to catch for sometime now played the Workmans Cellar in Dublin and it being the second last gig to be held in the venues as it closes after the last gig in it this evening (27th of June).
First up where up and coming Cork band Pebbledash who we have feature a number of releases from on here and they did not disappoint one bit with their blend of shoegaze and giving those who had where their to listen and not talk over them which happened a lot from some (please stay at home yous aren’t really wanted at gigs).
The band announced that they have a new single coming out on July 2nd, so keep an eye out for that.
Moving on to the main act of the night and that was Dream Boy, classed as a female dominated showgaze band with one out of the four members being male.
Opening their set with their last single release ‘Bleed’ was a good move as it got all there set up nicely for what was to come and that was another twelve songs.
Both these bands deserve a lot more attention and hopefully they will get it and grow to play bigger venues in time.
