Crows / Stratford Rise – Reason Enough tour The Sound House, Dublin 12.10.2024

Crows are on their third album Reason Enough out on Bad Vibrations and the London guys have taken to the road with it. Hitting The Sound House in Dublin and even thought the boys might have been a little hungover (Their own words) and requested the lights be turned down lol this didn’t stop them tearing the roof over the venue and given those that had travelled to see the show a dam good Saturday night out. Other gigs were happening around the city but in my opinion this was the one to be at and if you weren’t well you missed out.

Opening the night were Belfast base band Stratford Rise, first time catch these guys and they are good! One little grip and remember only my opinion but the nod twiddling and paddle adjusting between songs just doesnt work for me as these guys are so good when playing all this between songs is just jarring and one minute you’re up listen to some great music, next you’re brought down while waiting on them to get sorted for the next song. They even seam to be aware of this themselves as lead singer hit a pedal to have music play while the get the next song lined up.
Again just my opinion, but must be some way to streamline this better and not have the up and down, if that was sorted well these guys have it! And its not lost on me that for them to sound so good this twiddling needs to be done.
