Bambie Thug – has today shared a brand-new single and video ‘Fangtasy’

Ahead of their Irish ‘Crown The Witch’ headline shows, Bambie Thug (they/them/fae) has today shared a brand-new single and video ‘Fangtasy’, out now via SoundOn.

Following the release of their scathing witches’ siren ‘Hex So Heavy’ earlier this summer, Bambie Thug continues their hot streak with the electrifying new single ‘Fangtasy’. An exhilarating blend of gothic horror, infectious guitar riffs and rebellious energy, Fangtasy sees Bambie explore themes of self-empowerment, breaking free from control and standing against manipulation. In the accompanying animated music video, directed by Marco Pavone, Bambie Thug’s dark and supernatural world comes to life, as they face a night of chaos and enchantment at a lavish gothic mansion party.

Adding about the video: “I wanted to create something fun and playful that would resonate with fáns of all ages in my Coven. We teamed up with an Italian animation studio to bring the vision to life, but the creative direction and storytelling were all conjured up by my sister, Holly. The characters’ aesthetics were inspired by the incredible fan art I’ve received, especially from a fan named Broonney. The video is filled with Easter eggs and inside jokes from my time on tour and stars The Darklings, who have my back against all kinds of vampires, both on and off-screen. The animation pulls in references from iconic favourites like The Powerpuff Girls, The Love Witch, Grease, and Sabrina: The Animated Series (1999).”

Bambie will kick off the Irish leg of their ‘Crown The Witch’ tour this weekend, with headline shows in Dublin, Belfast and Galway, before a huge homecoming show at Cork City Hall on November 7th 2024. These dates follow Bambie’s show stopping festival performances across Europe this past summer at Download, Mighty Hoopla and Electric Picnic, and their critically acclaimed European ‘Crown The Witch’ shows, which Rocksound hailed as “a performance that further stamps Bambie Thug as truly extraordinary”. Limited tickets are available at: https://hausofthug.com/tour

Earlier this week it was announced that Bambie Thug will support BABYMETAL and Poppy on their huge 2025 UK & Europe Arena tour. Kicking off in Brussels on May 10th, the tour will see Bambie perform 12 dates across Europe including Paris, Barcelona and Amsterdam, before finishing at London’s O2 Arena on May 30th.
