Aborted / Crypta / The Zenith Passage / Organectomy –  Slashing Europe Tour live gallery & review from The Academy Dublin 23.05.2025

It was a triumphant night of Death Metal at The Academy Dublin and an early doors as usually, but those got held up a little as band arrived late seemingly to being help up at Irish customs and not let through with their merch.
But once doors open and those waiting early streamed in all got going and it wasnt long before the first band hit the stage and that was New Zealand band Organectomy who blasted their way through a truly nose bleeding Slamming Death Metal set.

Next up it was Los Angeles boys The Zenith Passage who again played their blend of death metal to the fans who eagerly kept the circle of death going throughout the bands set and these guys are one tight outfit as their timing and coordination seemed effortless.

We had Canterbury and Los Angeles represented now it was the turn of the ladies from São Paulo  to show the guys how its done the Brazilian way and that they did as Fernanda lead Crypta through a blistering ear bleeding set of tunes that was embraced by all in attendance.

So it was time for the headliners Belgian death metal band Aborted to take the stage and once they did the roof was blown clear off the venue as Sven de Caluwé paced and pounded the stage as if it was his very own playground. If the sweat wasnt already running down the walls of the venue they sure as hell started to bleed once the guys got going and once Sven asked for the crowd suffers to start coming like a tsunami, they did as body after body came over the barrier.

Over all it was as said one hell of a triumphant night for Death Metal in Dublin.
