Ticketmaster Ireland has launched Ticketmaster Fresh, a new monthly platform championing emerging Irish talent. Kicking things off for 2026 is Dublin-based indie post-punk band Croíthe, the first act to join the Ticketmaster Fresh List.
Each month, Ticketmaster Fresh will spotlight one rising Irish artist, supporting them across Ticketmaster’s platforms and introducing their music to new audiences. It helps fans discover their next favourite act, while giving artists meaningful promotional backing to grow their audience and sell out venues.
Artists can apply directly via Ticketmaster.ie/Fresh, ensuring the opportunity is open to the widest possible pool of Irish talent. The only criteria is that applicants must be Irish or Ireland-based and have a show on sale via Ticketmaster or Universe.
All monthly Ticketmaster Fresh artists will also be automatically nominated for the Ticketmaster Award for Fresh New Irish Act, with the winner decided by fan vote at the end of the year.
Keith English, Managing Director of Ticketmaster Ireland, said:
“Ireland continues to produce world-class talent, and Ticketmaster Fresh is about getting behind artists at the right moment. One artist each month, real exposure, real audience reach – and ultimately, more packed rooms. We’re proud to back the artists shaping the next chapter of Irish live music.”
Who are Croíthe?
Croíthe, the first act selected for Ticketmaster Fresh 2026, have been building momentum with their dark, emotive indie sound. Drawing influence from The Fall, The Cure and The Stone Roses, the band blend moody guitars, driving basslines and raw, atmospheric vocals. Their debut EP A Brief Respite reached #1 on Ireland’s Best-Selling Independent Chart and #11 on the Official Independent Albums Chart, earning praise from BBC Radio 6’s Steve Lamacq.
Croíthe said of their inclusion:
“We’re delighted to be the first act for the Ticketmaster’s Fresh List 2026 in Ireland. It’s great for the Irish music community that this new opportunity exists to shine a light on up and coming acts.”
Croíthe play Limerick’s Kasbah Social Club on Friday 13 March and Dublin’s Whelan’s on 14 March. Tickets are on sale now via Ticketmaster.ie.
Investing in Ireland’s Grassroots Scene
As part of its broader commitment to developing Ireland’s live music ecosystem, Ticketmaster has also extended its partnership with Tilt, Dublin’s longest-running full-band showcase event. The partnership supports emerging artists by providing access to stages, audiences and industry visibility.
The next edition of Tilt takes place at The Button Factory on 23 March. Free tickets can be reserved at Ticketmaster.ie/Tilt.
