The second night of We’ve Only Just Begun kept the momentum surging, turning Whelan’s into a whirlwind of sound, colour, and community.

These artists proved that Ireland’s women and non-binary artists are not just taking the stage, they’re owning it.
The crowd bounced between the main stage and upstairs, determined to soak up every beat. Smooth R&B grooves melted into indie-pop anthems, heartfelt ballads gave way to euphoric, bass-driven bangers, and the atmosphere flipped from tender sing-alongs to full-throttle dancing in seconds.
Every performance felt like its own world, vocals that could stop you in your tracks, lyrics that made you feel seen, and fearless energy that radiated from the stage straight into the crowd. By the time the last act closed, there was a collective sense that something special had been shared, a space where talent was met with pure, unfiltered support.
Night 2 didn’t just match the energy of the festival’s opening—it pushed it higher, setting the bar sky-high for the final night ahead.
