So the second night of You Me At Six happened at Dublins 3Olympia, originally the first night night but as it sold-out there was a second night added for the 6th.
As said this was a sold-out night and man was it electric right from the start with Scottish alternative rock band The Xcerts kicking things off and boy did they do just that.
I had been told good things about the night before and was not disappointed one bit, these guys went into overdrive the minute they hit the stage and started banging out the tunes, which included tracks like ‘Kids On Drug’ / ‘Teenage Lust’ and more.
Only drawback was that their set was to short.
If The Xcerts were electric right from the start well You Me At Six were just outright explosive, the stage was covered in a blanket of haze as band members walked out to their intro then started playing as Josh walked out and bang the stage lite up in a white flash and the energy just flowed.
Not for one minute did these guys let up throughout their twenty two song set, ok maybe one for an acoustic track. m
Maybe at times the band were hard to see! Someone was a little haze crazy on the night this pair with bright white light for me never really works, but it all went down well with the crowd.
Anyway all in attendance got one hell of a show and one that fans will remember for sometime to come.
