Following the buzz of our first wave announcement, we’re thrilled to reveal the next round of magic for HIBERNACLE. This brand new boutique 3-day music and arts gathering takes place this July 4-6, in the stunning Orlagh House in Rathfarnham, Dublin.
We’re delighted to welcome Villagers to the lineup for a very special acoustic show. One of Ireland’s most vital and poetic musical voices, Conor O’Brien (aka Villagers) brings his masterfully intimate live show to the Orlagh House stage. Last year saw the release of That Golden Time, his sixth studio album and twice awarded the Ivor Novello for O’Brien’s emotionally rich songwriting.
LINEUP TO DATE
Villagers, Pillow Queens, Lisa Hannigan, Ye Vagabonds, Wallis Bird, Jape, Ailbhe Reddy, Gráinne Hunt, Áine Tyrrell, George Murphy & players, Dani Larkin and DJ Sally Cinnamon – secret guests and special collaborations still to be revealed.
Nestled in the breathtaking Dublin Mountains, just a short hop from the city, this beautifully curated festival brings together a powerful mix of Ireland’s rising stars and seasoned favourites for a weekend of music, connection, and the joy of live music.
Late-Night Sitting Room Sessions
Gather ’round the fireplace in Orlagh’s drawing room for intimate ballads and trad sessions featuring George Murphy & Players. Spontaneous, sing-alongs that quickly become festival highlights.
Main Hall DJs
Festival icon, DJ Sally Cinnamon spins indie, soul, disco and dance floor bangers in the immaculate indoor dancefloor of Orlagh House.
Secret Garden Sessions & Pop-Ups
Tucked away in the leafy corners of the estate, discover hidden mini-performances, with intimate busking sets and surprise appearances. Belfast-based songwriter, multi-instrumentalist Dani Larkin brings her haunting melodies and powerful storytelling to Hibernacle. Discover emerging artists like We’re Not Together and the raw, powerful songwriting of Eddie Winston, a soulful singer whose journey from addiction to artistry gives his lyrics emotional depth.
Wholesome Welcomes
When you arrive at Orlagh House, prepare to be greeted by Aoibhneas, a troupe of young local trad musicians, and if you think it can’t get any more charming, the Rathfarnham Ukulele Group (RUGs) pop up between mainstage changeovers. They’ll be joyfully strumming away and keeping the craic flowing while you queue for your next pint or plate of deliciousness.
Spoken Word & Whisht: A Quiet Gathering
Don’t miss a special reading from acclaimed poet Emmet O’Brien, plus Whisht: A Quiet Gathering, curated by Deirdre Creasey of Cnoc na mBan. Set in the stillness of Orlagh’s gardens, Whisht offers a gentle space to reflect and reset through soft movement, breathwork, and sensory calm – a peaceful pause amid the weekend’s buzz.
Can’t attend the full weekend? Grab a 3-day ticket and share your wristband with a friend across different days because we all know, music is better shared!
