Two Tone – next gen R&B disruptors release debut single  ‘Jordans’

Meet Two Tone, West London’s freshest R&B girl-duo stepping into the spotlight with their debut single ‘Jordans’.

Made up of best friends Ruby and Dara, both 19, Two Tone formed after meeting at the iconic BRIT School – the same institution that nurtured talents such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, FKA Twigs, RAYE and Olivia Dean. Drawing comparisons to the likes of legendary vocalist Brandy and contemporaries FLO, the duo are quickly earning a reputation for their soulful vocals, authentic chemistry, and distinctly UK take on contemporary R&B.

Their debut single, ‘Jordans’, is a statement of intent. Co-written, produced, and mixed by Frank Nobel (Lotto Boyzz, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Kamille, JADE), and mastered by Manon Grandjean (Central Cee, FLO, Cat Burns), the track showcases a slick blend of classic soul textures with sharp, modern R&B production. With the former, Two Tone showcase a maturity far beyond their years.

Despite their musical maturity, the duo remain grounded in the authenticity of their youth, writing candid songs that reflect the genuine experiences, feelings and perspectives of growing up as a young woman in London – navigating hustle, relationships, partying, and the highs and lows of teenage life. Two Tone are fiercely unapologetic and describe their debut offering as a “breakup anthem with no apologies – if you break my heart, I’ll break your Jordans.”

Raised in West London – where they have cultivated a loyal following – and are deeply influenced by its rich cultural scene, the pair bounce off each other with an effortless synergy – not just two solo singers, but a true duo, trading verses and melodies with the same dynamic energy and back-and-forth flow as your favourite rappers. Their sharp, collaborative songwriting is rooted in a shared love of storytelling, shaped by a childhood spent writing stories and turning lived experiences into lyrics.

The pair have been influenced by a wide range of artists – from the likes of Floetry, Brandy, Beyoncé, and Victoria Monét to Coco Jones, Sasha Keable, Destin Conrad, and Kojey Radical. Two Tone, though, are carving out their own space, seamlessly blending elements of hip-hop, soul and pop with their alternative-driven R&B.

‘Jordans’ and Two Tone are released via Raw Kingdom Music – the powerhouse label and management company behind over 20 billion streams and six UK Number 1s (Kamille, Dan Lancaster, Goldfingers).

With rising buzz, a refined sound, and undeniable star quality, Two Tone are quickly establishing themselves as the girl-duo everyone should be watching. Stay tuned…
