Made up of best friends Ruby and Dara, both 19, Two Tone formed after meeting at the iconic BRIT School – the same institution that nurtured talents such as Amy Winehouse, Adele, FKA Twigs, RAYE and Olivia Dean. Drawing comparisons to the likes of legendary vocalist Brandy and contemporaries FLO, the duo are quickly earning a reputation for their soulful vocals, authentic chemistry, and distinctly UK take on contemporary R&B.
Their debut single, ‘Jordans’, is a statement of intent. Co-written, produced, and mixed by Frank Nobel (Lotto Boyzz, 2 Chainz, Ty Dolla $ign, Kamille, JADE), and mastered by Manon Grandjean (Central Cee, FLO, Cat Burns), the track showcases a slick blend of classic soul textures with sharp, modern R&B production.
