Tom Meighan / Cornin – Cleere’s Bar & Theatre , Kilkenny 09.05.2024

Tom Meighan former lead vocalist for the rock band Kasabian and now a solo artist played a number of dates around Ireland as part of his acoustic RAW ’24 tour and the last of which was a stop off at Cleere’s Bar & Theatre Kilkenny.
I got down early because as expected this night and the others had sold-out in now time at all.
Openers on the night were two members of Irish band Cornin who get the already packed venue warmed up nicely before Tom him self bounced on to the stage and bonce he did as Tom is a very energetic performer never stay easy for a second and always bouncing about the stage and right from the get-go he was engaging with the crowd, even at one point hold a conversation with myself about my tattoo collection lol. The set on the night consisted of a number of new solo numbers and of-course a number of Kasabian tracks thrown in all of which went down a treat with all in attendance and anyone that missed these shows really did miss out on seeing Tom up close and personal.
