Dublin rockers THUMPER came and tore apart the Workman’s club on Tuesday night.
With a sell out gig in under 24 hours, the lads had to add extra tickets and upgrade from the Cellar, to the main stage because the demand was just so damn high!
And not surprising either.
A gig to quench the thirst of the musically parched THUMPER fan, the band have been working hard on their second upcoming album and this performance was a showcase of the newly written tracks on said album.
High energy from the go, as it was my first time seeing these guys live, I certainly got the full force of this unstoppable monster truck, and I was drenched in my own and others sweat being right in the thick of it.
With support from Martina and the Moons, another local powerhouse. I heard one fan in the audience gasping at how well this band had it together. Incredible song written and even better musicianship. A punk edge and a “Not a fuck given” kinda vibe. MATM are certainly one to keep your eyes on.
An incredible performance from both and I’m so glad to call myself a Dubliner with this talent oozing out of our city.
