It’s been an incredible year for Chubby Cat, being named one of the 2FM Rising Acts for 2024, and having ‘Big Dog Barking’ nominated for a RTE Choice Prize Song Of The Year, Chubby Cat has hit the ground running in 2024.
She then went on to be names as Gay Times Breakthrough Artist for 2024, District Magazines ‘Future of Irish Music Acts and played festivals all over Europe.

Her recent live includes ESNS, The Great Escape, Primavera Pro, Forbidden Fruit, Brighton Pride, Stendhall Festival, Boardmasters, Electric Picnic, Radar Festival in Zurich and Pro Weekender in Spain. Needless to say, it’s been a busy few months for this exciting Irish rising star of alt electropop.

Written in Chubby Cats words by “a whole bunch of besties, resulting in the ultimate song of friendship”.
She’s enlisted the talents of Simon Francis, Kris Platt, Ben Murray and Matt Weir to create the penultimate single from her forthcoming Debut EP.
“GOT HOPE’ is the final single before the release of my debut EP. This song holds the essence of how impactful creating my EP has been on my life and person at the heart of it. By talking about my constant living in hope that people find joy in what I’m doing, but also in anticipation that I’m not good enough to succeed as an Artist.

To celebrate the release of Chubby Cats new single and Debut EP, she will headline The Soundhouse Dublin (with support from Bobbi Arlo) and The Union Bar, Belfast (with support from Lucy Bell) next month.
