“Down Tempo Sweet Soul, feels transported from the heavens” writes Robin Murray of Clash Magazine. And I don’t think you could describe Thee Sacred Souls any better.
Dublin was blessed by not 1, but two incredibly moving 3 piece ensambles last night in the Olympia.
Starting off the night was LA’s instrumental trio, LA LOM. Standing for Los Ángeles League of Musicians. A throw back to 50’s surf rock mixed with Latin American Cumbia and Peruvian Chica. Honestly, I couldn’t keep my eyes off them. An incredible show of style, confidence and sexy grooves. The Olympia was transported back to The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel during their set and it felt like we were in the ballroom watching an iconic show. Double bass, Congas and a guitar which I believe was part of the Airline collection similar to what Jack White has rocked for some years now. Beautiful!!
A band that I am so happy has appeared on my radar now and a favorite of the night.
Thee Scared Souls came out to a roaring crowed as the back line appeared from left stage from the darkness with singer Josh Lane putting smiles on everyone’s face as he appeared with that big beautiful smile of his own.
The perfect Wednesday night full of love, soul and extremely talented humans all around.
