In 1966, The Stylistics formed in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, by combining local high school rival singing groups, The Percussions and The Monarchs.
Since then, The Stylistics recorded a remarkable 10 straight top ten hits during the early 1970s including the GRAMMY nominated hit ‘You Make Me Feel Brand New’, ‘Can’t Give You Anything (But My Love), ‘I’m Stone In Love With You’, ‘Let’s Put It All Together’, ‘Sing Baby Sing’, ‘Rockin Roll Baby’ and more.
With their charisma, style and harmony, The Stylistics have evolved into one of the best-selling Philly groups ever.
The group’s many honours include the Philly Walk of Fame brass plaque embedded in cement on the Avenue of The Arts street in historical downtown Philadelphia. They also appear in an exhibit at the award-winning National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
