Australian Rock n Roll Band rolled into Dublin for a date on their Stan Qualen tour.
“3 words…Fuck the king” is how Cal Kramer kicked off an insanely good night in Dublin on Wednesday 22nd at workman’s. As he continued to speak about how he feels that Dubliners and Australians have a lot in common, which ya can’t disagree with.
We like to drink, and we hate the fucking king LOL.
No holding back with this band, and I tell ya, the vibez catch on quick. I feel like the crowd were feeling the buzz big time and the drink was flowing. As bassist Jason Caniglia asks the crowd “can someone get me a pint of Guinness? I’ve always wanted to drink Guinness on stage but I can’t go to the bar as I’m up here” about 10 people happily obliged his request.
With the Guinness flowing and the bottle of Jameson being shared amongst the band in between songs, this was a true show of rock and roll and an immense amount of fun.
I’m not going to bother mentioning anything about the sound of these guys, you can go and listen for yourself! But they are truly and utterly themselves. Kramer had mentioned the last reviewer from Liverpool had compared them to Airbourne which he was not happy about lol. So let me say it here, these guys do not sound like fucking Airbourne LOL. They sound like SRB. And SRB sound like the shit!
Total bants with the crowd and an invite for all to get fucked up after the show as they had a day off from playing the next day. You could tell they were excited about being in Dublin, and one can only imagine the shenanigans that were had late that night.
Do yourself a favor and catch these guys live when they come to your city!
Epic night and a 10 out of 10 show !
