After a few years out of the spotlight, The boys are back in business, and the response has been nothing short of mad. Their comeback show at The 3Olympia Theatre, back in April 2025 sold within the hour, proving the tunes still hit just as hard, and the fans never forgot. The Original Rudeboys have now announced a headline Academy, Dublin show for Sunday, 28th December 2025.
They came from Dublin’s North Inner City, armed with a guitar, a ukulele, and a whole lotta heart, and in no time, The Original Rudeboys were topping charts, going multi-platinum, and racking up fans from Ballymun to Brisbane.
Blending acoustic hooks with hip-hop flows and a pure Dublin attitude, The Original Rudeboys crashed into the Irish music scene like no one else. In 2013, they even picked up the Choice Music Prize award for song of the year, not bad for three lads who started out busking on Grafton Street.
They’ve already made history. Now they’re back to rewrite it.
