Following the Summer festival season, with shows at some of the biggest and most renowned metal festivals in mainland Europe, such as Wacken and Summer Breeze, modern metalcore sensation THE NARRATOR have unleashed a new single called ‘Pills From The Start‘. The blistering, groove led anthem is tackling toxic friendships that leave a lasting scar. The struggles with pain of self-worth can be heard in the visceral delivery from vocalist Fabian Jochum throughout the song. Alongside the single, a music video has been released, which you can watch below.
Just like the previous single, ‘Unbind Me‘, ‘Pills From The Start‘ was mastered by Grammy award winning mastering engineer Ted Jensen at Sterling Sound.
If you want to catch THE NARRATOR live, which is highly recommended: the band will embark on an extensive European tour with ANNISOKAY starting October 10th. You can find all confirmed dates below. Furthermore, a hometown headline show in Essen has been announced for December 20th, 2025, rounding off a successful year for THE NARRATOR with a party for the ages!
THE NARRATOR commented:
”‘Pills From The Start’ is about finding your own worth even when toxic friendships try to drag you down. Playing it live on our upcoming tour will be the perfect way to turn that message into a shared experience with our fans.“
