Hex Girlfriend – share new single ‘Sore Loser’ + announce tour dates to include Dublin

Hex Girlfriend today share new single ‘Sore Loser‘ – out now on Soil To The Sun Recordings (Tooth / Cliffords). The band also today announce a 2027 UK/EU tour (full dates below). Recent single ‘Gathering Dust‘ was premiered by Huw Stephens on BBC 6Music, received press support from The Line Of Best Fit, Dork, DIY and featured on the FIFA 2027 Soundtrack.

On the new single, the band say – “Sore Loser is a song about trying to see yourself from an outside perspective and putting your frustrations and problems into a wider context“

Hex Girlfriend is a two piece musical project from James Knott and Noah Yorke. They started making music on a laptop in a bedroom upon meeting at Goldsmiths University, where they prioritised the enjoyment derived from the process of working together above all other considerations. They continue to seek to make music in this same manner, winding electronic wizardry, animated live instrumentations and intuitive melody tightly together.

Serio-comic pop experimentation joins harsh, abrasive sonics with candy floss melodies, Hex Girlfriend sit within the Venn diagram between Nine Inch Nails and Britney Spears, Cocteau Twins and VTSS.
