On Saturday, May 31st, The Lumineers brought their signature blend of heartfelt folk and anthemic energy to a sold-out St. Anne’s Park, delivering a night that felt like the perfect kickoff to summer. With golden sunshine pouring down over the outdoor venue and a gentle breeze in the air, the scene was set for something truly special—and the Denver-based band delivered in every way.
From the first note, there was an undeniable warmth in the crowd. Families, longtime fans, couples, and new listeners of all ages gathered in the park, creating a relaxed yet electric atmosphere. The Lumineers performed a mix of their most beloved songs along with fresh material, but it was the classics that stirred the crowd into full voice.
When they launched into Ho Hey, the response was instant. Thousands of voices rang out in unison, echoing across the park in one giant, joyful chorus that could be heard for miles. And as the band closed the night with the emotional, crowd-favorite Ophelia, the entire park swayed together under the open sky—fans on shoulders, arms in the air, hearts completely in the moment.
The wholesome energy of the day was set early on by two stellar support acts. English indie duo Good Neighbours warmed up the crowd with their viral hit Home, drawing cheers and plenty of singalongs from TikTok-savvy fans. Following them, Michael Marcagi, the rising singer-songwriter from Ohio, took the stage and had the crowd fully locked in with Scared to Start, another online favorite that proved just as powerful live.
There was something truly magical about this show, maybe it was the sunshine, the setting, or the sound of thousands of people singing together. But one thing’s for sure: The Lumineers gave Dublin a concert full of light, love, and music that lingered long after the final note.
