The K’s – have revealed their new single ‘Me And Your Sister’

The K’s reveal their new single, Me And Your Sister out now via LAB Records. Me And Your Sister is taken from their upcoming sophomore album, Pretty On The Internet, out July 25th.

For the final single before the release of the album, The K’s return to their signature guitar driven sound. Speaking of the theme of the song, frontman and songwriter Jamie said “I’m probably best known for my brutally honest, real-time documentation of the chaos constantly unfolding in my head—and the mental struggles that come with it. But with “Me and Your Sister,” I wanted to take a slightly less serious route. It’s a first-hand account of hyping yourself up for a big moment with a girl, only to completely bottle it—rambling nonsense and cringing through the aftermath. It’s a tongue-in-cheek retelling of a painfully familiar experience that, if we’re being honest, most people know a little too well.

With its original release date pushed due to a manufacturing delayPretty On The Internet is worth the wait after a huge response to the singles released so far and glowing reviews already coming through. Produced by Grammy Award winner Jim Lowe (Stereophonics, The Dandy Warhols) and mixed by Pete Hutchings (Royal Blood, Foals, Nothing But Thieves), Pretty On The Internet showcases the band at their absolute best and includes the previously released singles, Breakdown In My BedroomGravestoneThe Bends (Here We Go Again) and string-led ballad Helen, Oh I.

With shows at London’s Roundhouse and Neighbourhood Festival already under their belt this year, they continue with shows at TRNSMT, Kendal Calling and Tramlines. After performing their first show in the USA at SXSW in Texas in March, the band recently headlined Rolling Stone’s ‘Future Of UK Music’ event at SXSW London. Earlier this week The K’s performed at iconic Sheffield venue, The Leadmill and are now set to perform a run of smaller, intimate shows to celebrate the upcoming album release.

The four-piece are taking the industry by storm with their electric live performances. Guitarist Ryan Breslin has recently been involved in the launch of Gretsch Guitars, Professional Collection Broadkaster LX, having appeared in the official video launch performing an instrumental version of The K’s stand-out track Black And Blue, taken from their 2024 debut album, I Wonder If The World Knows? The K’s built a phenomenal fan base which saw the debut album reach number 3 in the Official Album Charts, only being kept off the top spot by The Libertines and Beyoncé. The album was the UK’s second biggest debut of 2024 and went Bronze in less than a year since its release. With the new album exceeding all expectations, The K’s are unstoppable in this new chapter of their career.
