The Fear – Unveil Video For New Single The End Is The Start | Debut EP Falling Forward Out Now!

With their debut EP Falling Forward now out into the wild for all to enjoy, Manchester alt-rock meets nu-metallers The Fear have unveiled a video for their brand new single. The End Is The Start is the first (proper) track on Falling Forward, and provides exactly the kind of high octane start a debut release would want.

With the video filmed amongst rubble and the wreckage of old buildings, it provides a powerful visual metaphor for the new single and the members of The Fear embarking on this new chapter. Check out the video for The End Is The Start below:

On their new single, The Fear’s drummer / producer Benj Ashmead offered this insight:

The End Is The Start’ has been years in the making, and it only felt right for it to lead the EP. It’s about taking heartache and frustration and turning them into something stronger — leaving the negativity behind and moving forward with purpose.

The release of Falling Forward caps off a very successful first full year as a band for The Fear. They have released several successful singles, participated in major tours with main support slots to Alien Ant Farm and SNOT, and releasing a very well regarded cover of James’ legendary Sit Down are just some of the highlights.

Falling Forward can be streamed in full on Spotify on this link, and on Apple Music here.

On the release of their new EP, this is what The Fear’s frontman Mick Satiar had to say:

After a decade apart, The Fear felt like a long shot, but after one show in December 2023 sparked something unstoppable. Touring with Alien Ant Farm and SNOT, and writing this EP – seven tracks of wall to wall bangers – has been a wild ride. This music is our best yet, and we owe it to ourselves and these songs to keep going. We’re beyond stoked for what 2026 has in store.

While drummer and producer Benj Ashmead had this to add about the organic process for their debut EP:

We called it Falling Forward because that’s exactly what happened — we kinda stumbled back into making music together, but this time it felt right. Most of these songs came from that place of rediscovery. It’s about momentum, even when you don’t have it all figured out.
